D&D

5th Edition, cannibalised. One class, one subclass, and the world is Dagea. Anything in the accent colour opens — a window you can drag and park on desktop, a panel on a phone.

Majors

Strength, Dexterity, Constitution. Choose one array and assign its three numbers as you like.

  • 17 · 15 · 13

One thing you are the best in the room at, and one you are not.

  • 15 · 15 · 15

No hole to cover. No number anyone remembers either.

Minors

Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma. Choose one array and assign its three numbers as you like.

  • 12 · 10 · 8

One of them is a personality. One of them is a liability.

  • 10 · 10 · 10

Unremarkable in every direction, which is its own kind of useful.

Human

Skills

5 in total: 1 from Human, 2 from Fighter, 2 from Background.

Warlord is the only archetype, so the table names its features where the book would have said “Martial Archetype”.

  • Berserking Stance Stance You can expend one Superiority Die and use a bonus action. You enter into a berserk state of mind. You may roll the Superiority Die to gain a number of temporary hit points equal to the rolled amount + your proficiency bonus. While you are berserking, you gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, and you cannot use any Superiority Dice. This berserk mode ends when you choose to on your turn, when a minute passes, or when you are incapacitated.
  • Stunning Attack AttackConstitution save When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can expend one Superiority Die. You add the Superiority Die to the attack's damage roll, and the target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it is stunned until the end of your next turn.

Rules

Everything not on this list is 5e until it gets in the way.

  • Hit points

1d10 hit die, never rolled: 10 + your Constitution modifier per level.
  • Off-hand weapon fighting

A light weapon in your off-hand may be used for a bonus-action attack, with no ability modifier on the damage unless it is negative.
  • Gambit attacks

Declare any number of remaining attacks that share an attack bonus, roll once for all of them, and sum the damage on a hit.
  • Cleaving

Excess damage from a killing blow carries into another creature within your reach whose AC is the same or lower.
  • Exotic gear

Everyone can use every weapon and every suit of armor. Anything carrying the exotic tag is the exception and needs special training first.
  • Tools and languages

Gone. Two experiences replace them — short phrases about what you have been, argued for at the table.
