Range only matters if you can specialize on command, so here’s the proof: I spent five of those years specialized all the way down, hardening and shipping federal systems on AWS as a DevOps engineer. Hand me an ambiguous problem and I’ll take it to production; hand me the specialized seat and I’ll own it.

Five years building and securing AWS-hosted systems — largely on AWS GovCloud — for federal government and enterprise clients. Owned Fortify/SAST security remediation and CI/CD across successive production contracts. Left when the contract concluded — UNCOMN had no other remote seats open, and relocating to the St. Louis office wasn't in the cards.
Full-stack engineer on an iOS sports-drafting app. Took a half-finished product across the finish line; the company was acquired by DraftKings shortly after.
An iPhone and Apple Watch app that coaches horse riders from two heart-rate straps, one on the horse and one on the rider. It speaks short cues during the ride and writes a debrief and a trainer report afterwards. All of it runs on the phone with no internet, because barns rarely have any. Built for one rider: my mom.
Brand site + merch store for a YouTube automotive studio, built from scratch so they never have to touch Shopify — $12/year hosting, a couple dozen shirts and hats sold. Contract build for a friend who lived on my couch for two years.
A hyperlocal marketplace for home-grown food — find backyard growers and farmers-market vendors on a map, pre-order in the app, pick up with a QR code. Abandoned in 2025 when the funding never came; resurrected in 2026 with a working app and backend.
A monetization tool helping mid-size YouTube creators convert affiliate links more effectively: a Chrome extension that applies a subscribed creator’s promo at checkout, and a creator dashboard behind it. In private development; small launch team committed.
